IT&Data Product Analyst SCP

Job Description:

• The IT Data Product Analyst Supply Chain understands end user and business needs and supports the Product Owner in turning the product vision into practical prioritised and measurable product outcomes
• The role connects Supply Chain stakeholders with product and delivery teams by gathering and structuring requirements analysing data refining acceptance criteria supporting risk management and monitoring product performance
• It helps maximise value creation user adoption product effectiveness and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain product landscape
• Clear business requirements evidence based prioritisation shared understanding between stakeholders and delivery teams and continuous improvement of Supply Chain products based on user feedback and performance insights

Key Responsibilities:

• End user understanding and business analysis
• Build a strong understanding of Supply Chain processes user journeys pain points and expected business outcomes
• Engage end users and business stakeholders through interviews workshops observations and feedback sessions
• Requirement gathering refinement and prioritisation
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to gather structure validate and prioritise requirements
• Create and maintain product requirements user stories functional specifications and supporting documentation
• Support backlog refinement by clarifying scope assumptions dependencies constraints and expected outcomes
• Product communication and stakeholder alignment
• Help the Product Owner communicate the product vision business needs priorities and expected benefits in language understood by all stakeholders
• Act as a bridge between Supply Chain users product management solution architects data teams developers testers and delivery partners
• Prepare clear materials for decision making refinement sessions governance forums demonstrations and user engagement
• Data analysis and insight generation
• Collect validate and analyse relevant product process and user data to support product decisions
• Identify patterns trends correlations exceptions and root causes that can inform product strategy and prioritisation
• Delivery testing and release readiness
• Support delivery teams throughout solution design build and configuration by clarifying requirements and expected outcomes
• Collaborate with testing and business teams to define test scenarios and support functional validation and user acceptance testing
• Validate delivered functionality against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria
• Risk dependency and change management
• Support the Product Owner in identifying assessing and mitigating risks that may affect product success
• Identify dependencies across Supply Chain processes data integrations systems and delivery teams
• Maintain visibility of assumptions constraints issues and decisions affecting requirements or product outcomes
• Product performance and continuous improvement
• Analyse product effectiveness usage adoption user satisfaction and business outcomes
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend actions to enhance product value usability effectiveness and profitability

Technical Requirements:

• Must have
• Strong business analysis and requirements engineering skills including user stories and acceptance criteria
• Good understanding of end to end Supply Chain processes and the role of digital products in supporting them
• Ability to analyse data identify patterns and translate findings into actionable business insights
• Experience with backlog refinement prioritisation functional validation and user acceptance testing
• Ability to map processes clarify business rules and structure complex information
• Excellent stakeholder communication workshop facilitation and relationship management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with business product architecture data and technical delivery teams
• Strong problem solving critical thinking and attention to detail capabilities
• Collaborative user centric value oriented and continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a complex multi team and multi vendor environment

• Experience with Agile product management and delivery practices
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Logistics Manufacturing Customer Service Quality or Procurement processes
• Experience with analytics reporting or visualisation tools and common data concepts
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms APIs integrations and master data concepts
• Experience supporting product adoption change management or business readiness
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain Business IT Data Engineering or a related field
• 5 years in product analysis business analysis Supply Chain digital solutions or enterprise delivery
• Proven experience translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and supporting product delivery in a complex organisation
• Relevant business analysis Agile product management data analytics or Supply Chain certification is an advantage
