IT Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Advise on statutory, regulatory as well as contractual requirements related to Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Perform risk-assessments
• Contribute to implementation projects
• Work with the business to review and test first line compliance controls and identify potential gaps
• Draft and revise procedures / processes for new and existing second line controls
• Participate in client due diligence presentations
• Work within the department to provide reporting to interested parties
• Interact and work with various second line functions (e.g. Risk Management and Information Security)

Qualifications:

• Masters/Bachelors degree in any related field is preferred.
• Five years experience centering on IT specific compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Independent initiative and critical thinking skills.
• Data analytics and/or programming skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
