The Position

Introduction As a Senior Business Analyst, you will independently manage end-to-end business analysis workstreams, tackling complex business problems with emerging ambiguity. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the business domain, related technologies, and their interdependencies, applying advanced tools and techniques to translate requirements into strategic implementation plans. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, shaping stakeholder perspectives, handling process interdependencies, and significantly contributing to the design and validation of effective solutions. You will also mentor junior analysts and actively shape team processes, methodologies, and best practices within the broader Community of Practice.

The Opportunity:

• You will independently lead end-to-end business analysis workstreams, navigating complex problems and high levels of ambiguity without direct guidance.

• Drive the analysis of critical business problems through thorough domain research and comprehensive root cause analysis.

• Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops and resolving conflicts to align stakeholder expectations with project goals.

• Translate complex requirements into strategic implementation plans, ensuring every solution delivers demonstrable business value.

• Contribute significantly to solution selection and design, proactively identifying discrepancies to propose creative process improvements.

• Manage interdependencies across multiple solutions and products, evaluating both immediate and long-term business implications.

• Influence tactical decisions and contribute to long-term solution roadmaps to ensure alignment with overall Informatics strategy.

• Proactively shape team ways of working and best practices, contributing to the growth of the broader Business Analysis Community of Practice.

Who you are:

• You are educated to a University degree level in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in consultancy.

• Possess 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, with at least 3+ years specifically within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Business Analysis concepts, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end BA workstreams independently.

• Exhibit strong proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation, ensuring full traceability and consistent change management.

• Are an expert in applying tools and techniques related to data, usability, and process analysis to improve overall organizational efficiency.

• Possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to define engagement strategies and shape stakeholder perspectives across functional areas.

• Display a strong dedication to mentoring junior and intermediate BAs, helping them organize their activities and develop their professional capabilities.
