About IT Asset Management
IT Asset Management (ITAM) manages the complete lifecycle of IT assetsprocurement, deployment, maintenance, compliance, and endoflife disposal as per SG policies. The team operates within the GTS/COO/SVM organization, focusing on efficiency, cost optimization, and risk reduction.
Role Overview
This role manages endtoend Hardware & Software Asset Management operations across Romania. It covers the full lifecycle of assets, CMDB accuracy, compliance, audit support, and reconciliation across multiple infrastructure and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Monitor asset procurement, inwarding, and integration into monitoring systems & CMDB.
- Process hardware & software deployment requests and maintain accurate system updates.
- Perform software compliance monitoring using antivirus and other management consoles.
- Track equipment, update CMDB, and reconcile inventory with SCCM and other platforms.
- Execute utilization reviews and propose optimization/automation opportunities.
- Conduct physical asset verification and reconcile with financial & monitoring repositories.
- Manage application decommissioning, asset release, and disposal.
- Support vulnerability assessment, risk reporting & remediation planning.
- Provide inventory, compliance, audit, and risk-level reports.
- Support internal/external software license audits.
- Perform correlations & reconciliations across infrastructure product consoles.
- Execute internal controls (GPS / Morse).
Efficiency & Reporting
- Identify automation opportunities and drive process simplification.
- Prepare dashboards, asset reports, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with team members and provide backup as needed.
Relationship Management
- Engage confidently with internal stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Participate in transformation initiatives and improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/Diploma/BSc) with 8+ years of IT Asset Management experience (HAM + SAM).
- Strong understanding of change management and CMDB processes.
- Experience in utilization monitoring, remediation, and unused asset recovery.
- Handson experience in physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Skilled in endtoend software license lifecycle management.
- Proficient with software deployment tools, reporting, and monitoring platforms.
- Experience collaborating with Infrastructure, Security, Workplace, Architecture & Vendors.
- Ability to work with License Manager for ELP reporting and entitlement management.
- Knowledge of optimization, automation, and AIbased improvement use cases.
- Strong experience in managing SLA/KPI-driven global operations.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (basic level).
- Good understanding of vulnerability management processes.
- Mandatory experience with antivirus management consoles (SCCM & Intune).
- Strong teamwork mindset in operational environments.
