IT Asset Management

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end IT Asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly hardware/software inventory checks and ensure accurate asset records in ServiceNow/CMDB.
• Handle asset allocation, recovery, and audit-related documentation with strict compliance to internal policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware and software issues, including OS configuration, installations, and device setup.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, maintenance activities, replacements, and service follow-ups.
• Prepare and analyze asset reports using MS Excel, Power BI, and ServiceNow dashboards.
• Support new joiner onboarding including laptop setup, OS installation, VPN configuration, and basic software deployment.
• Manage material inward/outward, STN creation, transfer orders, and stock distribution with location-based asset admins.
• Handle printer/scanner issues, toner tracking, and consumable stock management.
• Ensure timely closure of incident, asset, and request tickets within SLA, including resolving escalations.
