Role Overview
We are looking for an IT Administrator who goes beyond traditional IT support and thinks like a security-first systems owner.
This is a forward-deployed role, where you will work closely with one of our enterprise clients on-site in Bangalore, helping manage and secure their IT infrastructure.
You will be responsible for ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and reliable, while also representing Cred-O on the ground.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain client IT infrastructure across cloud and on-prem systems
- Own identity and access management (IAM) across tools, cloud platforms, and internal systems
- Set up and enforce security policies across endpoints, networks, and SaaS tools
- Manage employee devices (laptops, access, onboarding/offboarding) with a security-first approach
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and ensure timely patching and updates
- Implement and manage endpoint security, firewalls, VPNs, and network controls
- Work with engineering teams to ensure secure configurations across cloud environments
- Maintain backups, disaster recovery processes, and system reliability
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and documentation
What We're Looking For
Core IT & Infrastructure Skills
- Strong experience managing IT systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS / GCP / Azure (at least one deeply)
- Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Experience managing SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
Security Expertise
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege, encryption, network security)
- Experience with endpoint security tools, device management (MDM), and access controls
- Familiarity with security best practices and frameworks (basic ISO/SOC2 awareness is a plus)
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks
Systems Thinking
- Ability to design scalable IT processes (onboarding, access control, audits)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networks, and devices
- Comfort working across cloud + local systems + employee devices
AI-Native Workflows
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to automate workflows, debug issues, and improve efficiency
Role Expectations (Important)
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in Bangalore at a client location
- You will be working as a forward-deployed Cred-O engineer embedded with the client team
- A minimum commitment of 12 months in this role is expected to ensure continuity and impact
