Job Description

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and periphera
Perform OS installations, driver updates, and system re-imaging as needed
Monitor and maintain local networks (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
Handle hardware repair or vendor coordination for replacements
Setup and manage user accounts, emails, and software licensing
Regularly back up data and implement disaster recovery plans
Provide technical support to employees, onsite and remotely
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure hardware/software compliance
Support basic network security practices (firewall updates, antivirus, patching)
Coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations, warranty claims, and AMC support
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
4 - 10 years of experience in IT support / system administration
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware components, and system imaging
Familiarity with networking concepts, IP addressing, and basic troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with remote desktop tools, Active Directory, and antivirus software
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of IT security best practices
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of Linux OS and basic command-line operations
Experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zoho Desk, Jira, Freshservice)
Certification : CompTIA A+ / Network+ / MCSA / CCNA (added advantage)
