Job Profile
Job Purpose
To manage, secure, and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, databases, and digital systems, ensuring smooth academic and administrative operations.
· Maintain complete digital records of:
· Teaching & non-teaching staff
· Personal details, qualifications, experience
· Joining, transfers, promotions & exits
· Manage student, staff, academic & examination databases
· Ensure data accuracy, integrity & regular backups
· Control user access & data security permissions
· Generate reports (attendance, marks, results, fee data)
· Support marks analysis, result compilation & data migration
2. Data Security & Compliance
· Protect data from loss, misuse & cyber threats
· Implement password policies & access controls
· Ensure compliance with school data protection guidelines
· Assist in cyber safety & digital policy implementation
3. Reporting & Support
· Prepare management MIS reports
4. Technical Support
· Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
· Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize downtime.
· Monitor and maintain LAN, internet, Wi-Fi, and email systems
5. Install and Configure Software and Hardware
· Set up new hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
· Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.
6. Website & Digital Support
· Update and maintain the organization's website and digital platforms
· Support online portals, learning platforms, and cloud tools
7. Video Conferencing Management
· Schedule, organize, and manage video conferencing sessions for all branches
· Coordinate with branch heads and staff to fix meeting dates, time slots, and agendas
· Set up and test video conferencing tools (Zoom / Google Meet / Microsoft Teams) in advance
· Provide technical support during live sessions to ensure smooth communication
· Maintain records of meetings, attendance, and follow-ups
8. User Administration
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure appropriate access to resources.
· Create, modify, and delete user accounts as needed.
