Job Title: IT Support Administrator / Junior System Administrator
About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on IT professional with a strong background in hardware troubleshooting, system security, and server management. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day IT support, manage our Google Workspace environment, and oversee specific web/mail server configurations (CWP Pro). You will be responsible for maintaining system integrity, enforcing security policies, and ensuring our network infrastructure runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware & Operating Systems
Installation & Configuration: Perform end-to-end installation of Windows operating systems, drivers, and essential software on laptops and desktops.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues (blue screens, boot errors, slow performance).
Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on laptop hardware and system components.
Connectivity: Configure routers and manage IP addressing (specifically Static IP configurations).
Infrastructure: Maintain basic network switches and ensure stable LAN/WAN connectivity.
Troubleshooting: Resolve network conflicts and connectivity issues for end-users.
- Cloud & Workspace Management
Google Workspace: Act as the primary administrator for the Google Admin Console.
User Management: Create, suspend, and delete email accounts; manage groups and organizational units.
- Server & Web Administration
CWP Pro (CentOS Web Panel): Manage and maintain CWP Pro environments.
Email Server: configure and troubleshoot Roundcube mail identities and mail routing.
File Storage: Manage Nextcloud instances for internal file sharing and storage.
- IT Security & Policy Implementation
Endpoint Security: Implement and enforce BIOS passwords to secure hardware.
Access Control: Manage local IT Admin privileges; strictly control access to USB ports and external drives based on company policy.
Application Control: Restrict unauthorized applications and block access to non-compliant software.
R&D: Research and implement new web and laptop security policies to keep the infrastructure secure.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of computer hardware (Laptops/Desktops) and Windows OS architecture.
Networking: Knowledge of TCP/IP, Static IPs, DNS, DHCP, Routers, and basic Switching.
Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Workspace Admin, CWP Pro, Roundcube, and Nextcloud is mandatory.
Security Mindset: Experience with device hardening (BIOS locks, USB blocking, Group Policy Object/Registry edits for app restriction).
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot independently and document solutions.
Basic Linux command line knowledge (helpful for CWP Pro management).
