Job Description

Job Title: Investor Relations/Public Relations Specialist

Position: Head - IR/PR

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Investor Relations/Public Relations (IR/PR) Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communication with investors, shareholders, and the public to maintain and enhance the company's reputation and image. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans.

Responsibilities:

  1. Investor Relations:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations.
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other financial communications.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and shareholder feedback.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, proxy statements, and other regulatory filings.
  • Participate in investor conferences and roadshows as needed.
  1. Public Relations:
  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Draft press releases, media statements, and other materials to communicate key messages to the media and the public.
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure media coverage.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry news, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Manage crisis communications and issue responses to protect the company's reputation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
  1. Corporate Communications:
  • Assist in the development of corporate communications materials, including executive speeches, internal newsletters, and employee communications.
  • Support corporate events, including annual meetings, investor days, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and marketing, to ensure alignment in messaging and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, public relations, or financial communications, preferably within a publicly traded company or financial services firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, SEBI regulations, and corporate governance practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and compelling messages.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors, analysts, and media contacts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and investor relations/public relations software/tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
