Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations Management

  • Develop and implement industrial relations strategies and policies.
  • Handle employee grievances, disputes, and conflict resolution in a timely manner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with unions, worker representatives, and regulatory authorities.

Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory requirements, such as PF, ESIC, gratuity, and labor welfare acts.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reporting for regulatory authorities.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Promote a healthy work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs for employees and management.
  • Maintain clear communication channels between management and employees.

Policy Development & Implementation

  • Assist in developing HR and IR policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates of existing policies and practices.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR and IR initiatives across all levels.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolutions.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
  • Support HR analytics for strategic decision-making.

Training & Advisory

  • Advise management on industrial relations best practices, labor laws, and risk mitigation.
  • Train line managers and HR staff on conflict management and compliance procedures.
  • Support strategic HR initiatives for workforce planning and employee retention.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, or related field.
  • 15–20 years of experience in Industrial Relations, HR, or employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, dispute resolution, and employee engagement practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle complex employee relations issues and confidential matters.
