IoT Automation Operations Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a minimum of 10 years of proven expertise in managing end-to-end business operations, process optimisation, cross-functional coordination, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.

Drive process efficiencies, reduce operational bottlenecks, and improve productivity.

Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.

Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams.

Analyse workflows and implement automation opportunities.

Develop SOPs and enforce compliance.

Manage vendor and supplier relationships.

Prepare and manage operational budgets.

Oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics (if applicable).

Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management.

Strong understanding of business processes and project management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Proficiency in data analysis, dashboards, and ERP/MIS tools.

Experience in process automation or digital transformation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.

MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience in IoT & Smart Water Technologies

Managing deployments of IoT water meters, sensors, gateways, and controllers.

Overseeing field operations for smart water infrastructurepumping stations, overhead tanks, STPs, WTPs, flow meters, water quality sensors, energy meters, and telemetry.

Coordinating with municipalities, water boards, KUWS&DB, BWSSB, Smart City projects, and industrial clients.

Understanding SCADA, PLC integration, automation panels, and remote monitoring systems.

Leading teams for installation, commissioning, and O&M of IoT devices and communication networks (LoRaWAN / NB-IoT / GSM).

Experience in cloud platforms, dashboards, analytics, and data governance.

Driving large-scale IoT rollouts including logistics, inventory, and RMA processes.

Experience in AMR/AMI projects, NRW reduction, DMA creation, leakage monitoring, and utility water operations.
