About The Role
As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our software engineering capability and looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer. This role involves leading the technical design, setup, and implementation of digital products and solutions tailored for our diverse clientele. The Senior iOS Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mobile applications, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and aligned with the latest industry standards. You will be expected to lead by example, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects within a collaborative environment, influencing the future of our mobile solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development, demonstrating a strong proficiency in Swift and related frameworks. A deep understanding of software architecture principles such as MVVM-C, SOLID, TCA, and reactive programming is essential. Candidates should have a passion for creating clean, modular, and testable code, utilizing package management tools like Swift Package Manager (SPM) and CocoaPods. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Bitrise, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, is highly desirable. A solid background in agile methodologies, continuous integration, and test automationcovering unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testingis required. Familiarity with performance monitoring and analytics tools like Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics will be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand project challenges and define the technical scope for global sports properties. The Senior iOS Engineer will be hands-on in developing and delivering comprehensive solutions that meet client requirements while adhering to best coding practices. You will contribute to the design and evolution of software architecture, both internally and in partnership with clients, ensuring scalable and maintainable codebases.
You will participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and providing constructive feedback to help build a strong engineering team. Advocating for an exceptional developer experience, you will seek opportunities to improve workflows, tooling, and overall team productivity. Fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence is integral to this role.
This position requires a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be present in the office three days a week to facilitate collaboration and team engagement.
