The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Category II Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) along with sound knowledge of Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) — as we also run a dedicated VC Secondaries desk — excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term investor relationships. This is an in-office role based in Ahmedabad (not remote).

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

2. AIF Knowledge & Fund Understanding

Have a good understanding of Category II AIFs, fund structures, investment strategies and fund operations.

Sound knowledge of Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC), including familiarity with VC secondaries, given our dedicated VC Secondaries desk.

Effectively communicate the fund's investment objectives, strategy, and value proposition to prospective investors.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate communication of fund-related information.

3. Investor Communication & Reporting

Share regular fund updates, performance reports, portfolio updates, and other relevant information with investors.

Prepare and circulate investor communications, newsletters, presentations, and quarterly updates.

Ensure timely and transparent communication with existing investors.

4. Fundraising & Business Development

Support fundraising activities by identifying and engaging with prospective Ultra HNIs and Family Offices.

Arrange investor meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to support fund commitments.

Develop and nurture a strong investor pipeline to support the fund's growth.

5. Investor Servicing

Ensure a high level of investor satisfaction through proactive engagement and timely resolution of queries.

Coordinate with fund management, finance, compliance, and operations teams for investor-related matters.

Maintain investor databases, relationship records, and engagement updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong existing network and connections with Ultra HNIs, Family Offices and wealth management professionals.
  • Good understanding of Category II AIFs and the alternative investment industry.
  • Knowledge of Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior investors and handle confidential information professionally.
  • Good follow-up, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience:

3–7 years in Investor Relations, AIF fundraising, Wealth Management, Private Banking or a similar role.

Preferred: Prior experience in an AIF, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Management or Family Office environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
