Investment Promotion Expert

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to support tourism-related investment promotion, policy formulation, and project implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, sectoral knowledge, and hands-on experience working with government and public sector stakeholders.

Education:

• Undergraduate (UG):

o B.E. / B.Tech in any specialization from a recognized university/institution.

• Postgraduate (PG):

o MBA / PGDM in any specialization, preferably with electives or certifications related to tourism, public policy, infrastructure, or development studies.

o Candidates with a Postgraduate degree/diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or related courses will be given preference.

Experience:

• Minimum 07 years of total professional experience.

• At least 05 years of relevant experience in:

o Investment promotion, facilitation, and financial planning in tourism-related projects.

o Project execution with State/Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or multilateral/bilateral agencies.

o Cost estimations and implementation planning for large-scale tourism or infrastructure projects.

• Hands-on experience in:

o Procurement, Bid Process Management, and Contract Management in line with government or international funding agency guidelines (e.g., World Bank).

o Drafting and refining sectoral policies at the state or central level, particularly related to tourism or infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage investment promotion activities in the tourism sector.

• Develop financial models, feasibility reports, and cost estimates for proposed tourism initiatives.

• Support policy formulation, drafting, and refinement in line with national and state tourism strategies.

• Coordinate with key stakeholders including government bodies, industry players, and funding agencies.

• Manage end-to-end procurement and contract processes for tourism projects.

• Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of tourism-related initiatives, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
