Founded by an IIT Delhi alumnus, NYU Stern MBA and former NYC investment banker, the firm aims to utilize a strong understanding and know-how of private markets to deliver a compelling value proposition to all participants involved.
Position Overview
- Being highly proactive with deliverables and having the motivation and patience required to build something novel and new-age
- Conducting in-depth market research and industry research to create an industry prioritization matrix and rank order sectors of interest
- Sourcing opportunities through the evaluation of companies and competitors to originate investor-fundable investment opportunities
- Prepare, review or refine PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets pertaining to business development initiatives, investor decks, financial models, legal documentation, etc
- Supporting with creation of models, keywords, tags, databases or methodologies to assist software developers with inputs that could enrich the platform development in any way
- Assisting with liaising and setting up meetings with potential business partners, investors, clients, etc
- Preparing data-rich and accurate databases of startups, funds, family offices, angel investors, and HNIs
- Working on other initiatives as required, including high-quality content generation for LinkedIn pages, building contacts and networks, conducting research to update on investor events and networking opportunities
Experience Preferred
- Candidates from top Indian or global B-schools or undergrad programmes (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
- Ideally someone who has relevant internship experience in a client-facing role
- Someone motivated to work in a rapidly-evoloving environment and comfortable with the startup grind
- Non-IB candidates who want to try out IB before making the jump full time
- Candidates with great written and verbal communication skills
