About the Role

Unicorn India Ventures is looking for an Associate to join our investment team. You will play a critical role in identifying the next generation of category-defining startups and supporting our existing portfolio as they scale.

This role offers a 360-degree view of the venture capital lifecycle, from original market research to deal execution and post-investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage with exceptional founders; build a robust pipeline of high-potential investment opportunities.
• Market Thesis & Research: Develop deep-dive investment theses on emerging sectors in technology and science.
• Deal Execution: Support the end-to-end investment process, including financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of investment memos.
• Portfolio Management: Act as a strategic partner to our founders, helping them solve operational challenges and scale effectively.

What We're Looking For:

• Background: 23 years of experience in Management Consulting, Product Management, or Investment Banking.
• Education: Graduate/Post-graduate from IIT or a top-tier engineering/management institute.
• Mindset: Interest in startups, frontier technology, and scientific breakthroughs.
• Skills: Strong analytical rigor, the ability to build a narrative from data, and good communication skills.
