Role Overview

VAM offers its investee clients with structured solutions to their business needs pertaining to growth (e.g. acquisition, mezzanine, last mile capex), consolidation (refinancing, shareholding changes, liability management), turnarounds (special situations, hybrid solutions) and more. These are bilaterally designed solutions, arrived at with careful assessment of the business / group in question, its operating environment, transaction structure and risks therein.

Consequently, the role of an Investment Analyst at VAM entails critical evaluation of investment opportunities, second order analysis, financial modelling, associated research and thesis building, and post-transaction asset management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: CA / CFA (preferred), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 47 years in credit analysis or investment research, at asset management firms or banks.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and analytical tools.
