Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). The launch has proven all the new technologies developed by Agnikul and also earned recognition from Honourable Prime Minister of India
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle and manage inventory materials, including standard hardware, raw materials, purchased components, machined parts, and assemblies to support production and inventory control operations.
Pick, pack, and prepare material kits as per production requirements, ensuring all required parts, materials, and hardware are accurately accounted for and available.
Move, lift, organize, and arrange inventory items within storage areas and workstations to maintain efficient material flow and accessibility.
Assemble and organize storage racks and shelves, locate required parts, and maintain orderly storage of materials and supplies.
Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with established procedures and inventory control standards.
Monitor shelf-life controlled materials and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain inventory quality and compliance.
Perform daily cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
Utilize the ERP system effectively to track inventory movements, update records, and support inventory management activities.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of consulting practices, project coordination, process improvement, and reporting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with cross-cultural teams and maintain effective professional relationships.
Basic technical knowledge and willingness to learn industry standards, tools, and operational processes.
Flexible to work extended hours, weekends, and night shifts as required.
