Role Summary
The Team Lead GA/ARC (Inventory Accounting) is responsible for leading a team of 10 members while managing key operational deliverables (50:50 split between leadership and operations). The role ensures accurate and timely execution of end-to-end inventory accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance within a Shared Service Center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team to deliver high-quality accounting services aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
- Oversee end-to-end inventory accounting processes including journal postings, GL maintenance, reconciliations, and SAP transactions (MIRO, MIGO, FBL1N).
- Manage monthly/quarterly close activities for Inventory and Sales, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform analytical reviews and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Investigate and resolve system discrepancies across SAP and related platforms.
- Drive continuous process improvements and standardization initiatives.
- Act as key contact for stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Inventory Accounting, SAP, and Accounts Payable.
- Shared Service Center experience preferred.
- Strong SAP knowledge (AS400 is an advantage).
- Solid analytical and financial accounting skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- English proficiency: B2C1.
