A leading organisation in the Healthcare sector Tertiary Cardiac Care & Interventional Cardiology services. We deliver high-acuity cardiac interventions, emergency reperfusion care, and advanced cath-lab procedures across India. This is an on-site Interventional Cardiologist role based in India focused on delivering best-in-class procedural outcomes and multidisciplinary cardiac care.
Primary title: Interventional Cardiologist
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and lead complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including bifurcation, chronic total occlusion (CTO) strategies, and adjunctive atherectomy when indicated.
- Deliver timely primary PCI for acute coronary syndromes (STEMI/NSTEMI) and manage peri-procedural care including anticoagulation and hemodynamic stabilization.
- Utilize intravascular imaging (IVUS/OCT) to guide lesion assessment, stent sizing, and optimize procedural outcomes.
- Manage device therapies: temporary/permanent pacemaker implantation and support device deployment (IABP/other circulatory support) during high-risk procedures.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary heart-team reviews with cardiac surgery, critical care, and imaging teams to plan complex cases and referrals.
- Ensure clinical governance: maintain accurate documentation, informed consent, cath-lab protocols, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews and training of junior staff.

- Coronary angiography
- Transradial access techniques
- Intravascular ultrasound(IVUS)
- Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT)

- Temporary and permanentpacemakerimplantation
Preferred
- Experience with chronic total occlusion(CTO)techniques and complex bifurcation stenting
- Fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Cardiology or Structural Heart interventions
- Familiarity with structural procedures (TAVR/left atrial appendage occlusion) or peripheral vascular interventions
Qualifications (Clinical)
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent medical qualifications
- Valid Indian medical registration and current BLS/ACLS certification
- Proven on-site cath-lab experience with a record of independently performing complex coronary interventions
Benefits & Culture Highlights
- State-of-the-art catheterisation lab with full imaging and support teams plus opportunities for clinical research and teaching.
- Competitive compensation package with performance-linked incentives and professional development support.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on outcomes, continuous learning, and patient-centred care.
