Role Description
The Travel Consultant is responsible for managing day-to-day travel leads, communicating with potential customers, understanding their travel requirements, customizing tour packages, and converting inquiries into confirmed sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily travel inquiries/leads received via website, calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media
- Connect with leads promptly, understand customer needs, budget, and travel preferences
- Customize domestic and international travel packages as per traveler requirements
- Prepare and share detailed itineraries, quotations, inclusions, and exclusions
- Follow up with leads regularly to close sales and maximize conversion
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and suppliers for best pricing
- Maintain accurate CRM records and lead status updates
- Upsell add-ons such as sightseeing, activities, meals, and insurance
- Ensure smooth pre-travel, on-trip, and post-travel customer support
- Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue goals
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of tour packages, destinations, and travel logistics
- Ability to customize packages quickly and accurately
- Sales-oriented mindset with customer-first approach
- Proficiency in CRM tools, email, and WhatsApp communication
- Prior experience in travel sales or tour operations preferred
