Role Summary
The Deputy Manager / Manager International Sales (SEA Region) will be responsible for expanding the customer base across South East Asia and driving the introduction of new products in the region. The role involves managing international sales operations, customer engagement, distributor development, lead generation, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless export and global marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand new customer base across SEA countries including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.
Drive sales of new products and identify potential markets, distributors, OEMs, and industrial customers.
Generate leads through market research, prospecting, and B2B marketing tools.
Manage end-to-end sales operations including inquiry handling, quotations, order processing, and timely follow-ups.
Maintain strong customer communication for technical queries, delivery schedules, and product updates.
Conduct and coordinate technical meetings, product presentations, and commercial discussions with clients.
Collaborate with production, quality, dispatch, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth and timely order execution.
Maintain and regularly update CRM systems, sales dashboards, market intelligence, and customer records.
Support and participate in international exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand visibility.
Prepare sales plans, market research reports, MIS, and performance updates for management review.
Oversee and guide the sales support team to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Ensure compliance with export procedures, documentation, shipment coordination, and customs regulations.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Biotechnology or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Minimum 8+ years of experience in international sales or marketing, specifically handling SEA markets.
Proven exposure to SEA countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.
Strong communication skills with sound technical understanding of industrial / mechanical products.
Knowledge of export procedures, international sales documentation, and B2B marketing tools.
Experience in filters, single-use systems, tubing, hoses, or related manufacturing sectors.
Proven experience in team handling and cross-functional coordination.
Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
Willingness to travel frequently across SEA markets.
