Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and institutional clients across African territories
- Conduct market mapping to assess business potential, demand patterns, and competitor activities
- Travel to African countries to meet prospective clients, hospitals, and channel partners
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, hospital procurement teams, and government bodies
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and finalize agreements
- Drive product penetration across Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Endo-Surgery portfolios
- Support tender participation in coordination with regulatory and commercial teams
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure achievement of sales targets
- Ensure timely collections and effective receivables management
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and market intelligence reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or Business Administration
- MBA preferred
- 48 years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales
- Prior exposure to export sales or international markets preferred
- Strong understanding of distributor-driven business models
- Willingness to travel internationally and work across diverse market
