Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Student Recruitment (International Markets) to lead and execute international student recruitment strategies across key regions including Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, and Africa. This role plays a critical part in achieving international enrolment targets by building strong agent networks, partnerships, and delivering a seamless student recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities

International Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute market-specific recruitment strategies for priority international regions.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with international recruitment agents, sub-agents, counsellors, and partner institutions.
  • Identify and engage international schools and feeder institutions to build sustainable student pipelines.
  • Represent the institution at overseas education fairs, school visits, agent events, and recruitment activities.
  • Collaborate with global partners, embassies, and cultural organisations to enhance brand visibility.

Student Journey & Conversion

  • Work closely with admissions and conversion teams to manage offer-holder engagement and pre-arrival support.
  • Analyse applicant and enrolment trends by market and programme to improve conversion and yield.
  • Provide recruitment counselling and guidance to prospective students and families.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Partner with academic teams to deliver subject-specific outreach initiatives such as webinars, lectures, and masterclasses.
  • Liaise with international scholarship bodies and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to visa, regulatory, and admissions requirements for international students.

Reporting & Market Insights

  • Prepare and present regular reports on applications, offers, acceptances, and enrolments by market.
  • Track competitor activities and provide insights for market positioning and strategy refinement.
  • Utilise CRM systems to monitor agent performance, conversion rates, and ROI of recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, International Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 58 years of experience in international student recruitment or higher education admissions.
  • Strong existing network of international agents, schools, and partners.
  • Good understanding of international student mobility trends, visa processes, and cultural nuances.
  • Experience using CRM systems for recruitment tracking and reporting.
