RIR is seeking International Policy Researchers & Analysts to contribute high-quality research and analysis on international, regional, strategic, and security-related issues. Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on international, regional, political, strategic, and military affairs
- Analyze foreign policy trends, security dynamics, and geopolitical developments, particularly relevant to Asia and global affairs
- Apply strong analytical and critical thinking to interpret complex policy issues
Writing & Publications
- Produce well-structured research reports, policy briefs, and analytical articles
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and policy relevance in all written outputs
- Collaborate with editors and senior researchers to meet publication standards
Collaboration & Monitoring
- Work with international researchers and analysts across regions
- Stay updated on current international developments, security trends, and diplomatic processes
- Contribute ideas for future research themes and projects
Qualifications & SkillsRequired
- Strong background in International Relations, Political Science, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in research and analytical writing (academic, policy, or journalistic)
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote, research-driven environment
Preferred
- Master's degree or PhD in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or Strategic Studies
- Prior experience with think tanks, research institutes, or policy organizations
- Familiarity with international security, geopolitics, or strategic affairs
- Published articles, reports, or policy papers (a strong plus)
Compensation & Growth
Salary Package
- Trial Period (1 month): USD 800 1,500
- Post-Trial Period: USD 1,500 5,000 (based on performance and output quality)
- Growth: Salary increases with sustained collaboration and strong research contributions
