Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled International News Writer to cover global news for the Times Now website during the night shift. The role primarily involves writing high-quality English articles on international news, ensuring speed, accuracy, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and cover breaking international news stories across regions (US, Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc.)
- Write clear, concise, and engaging English articles for the website
- Ensure quick turnaround on breaking news with high accuracy
- Conduct basic research and fact-checking before publishing
- Write SEO-friendly headlines, summaries, and story copies
- Update stories as new developments emerge
- Adhere to editorial guidelines and content standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in digital news writing (preferably international news)
- Strong command of written English
- Good understanding of global news and current affairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with CMS and basic SEO practices
- Willingness to work night shifts (5 days a week, WFO – Noida)
