Responsible to achieve annual sales targets for formulation products in the South Africa Region.
Managed Institutional and Tender Business, including tender participation and execution.
Handled institutional clients and coordinated end-to-end tender processes.
Travelled to South Africa for institutional and tender-related business activities.
To Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and actionable market insights for management review.
Drive growth by managing current business and developing new business opportunities in the assigned country / region.
To Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing distributors / clients; identify, approach, and convert new clients / customers for business expansion.
Assist in registration and renewal of existing and new products by coordinating with local Ministries of Health (MOH) in assigned countries.
Work with supply chain, regulatory, production, and logistics teams to ensure the timely supply and dispatch of goods according to commitments.
Conduct comprehensive market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and identify new business growth opportunities.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively to countries for client meetings, negotiations, market assessments, and business development activities. Travelling will be predominantly within the given region.
Candidate Profile:
5–15 years of demonstrated experience in international sales and marketing of pharmaceutical formulation products.
Strong network and understanding of the pharmaceutical markets in the above regions.
Proven track record of sales, business development, and client relationship management in the relevant regions.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, product registrations, and local healthcare frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and willing to travel primarily to allocated country (up to 50% of the time).
MBA (Marketing) preferred.
