About Elchemy

Elchemy is a tech-enabled cross-border specialty chemicals marketplace. Our vision is to become the

largest global speciality chemicals distributor focussing on discovery and fulfillment using a tech-first

approach.

Chemicals is an extremely important large and fragmented market with multiple inefficiencies in cross

border trade. The global speciality chemicals market is $800bn growing at a CAGR of 5.7%. The

industry faces glaring challenges including lack of trust, excessive lead times, quality uncertainty, lack

of transparency and tons of operational challenges.

We have scaled up our operations serving in more than 40 countries and have active partnerships with

more than 100s of customers and suppliers. The company has raised a total of upwards of $7.5mn from marquee investors like InfoEdge Ventures and Prime Venture Partners .

Our highly ambitious team comprises alumni from IITs, IIMs, NITs and have extensive experience of

working in startups as well as multinational companies. We want to create a team with A-players and

Roles and Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth:

Driving business growth for Personal & Home Care chemical segments Globally . Focus on increasing

Elchemy's market share by identifying untapped customer segments, penetrating new accounts,

and strategically expanding presence in high-potential regions. Lead initiatives that consistently

deliver top-line sales growth and improved profitability.

Customer Relationship Management & Key Account Development:

Strengthen relationships with existing clients through a structured key account management

approach. Ensure customer satisfaction, drive repeat business, and increase wallet share by

positioning Elchemy as a strategic partner. Expand the Key Account portfolio through

trust-building, proactive communication, and exceptional service delivery.

Sales co-ordination & execution:

Align plans and operations with Elchemy's team in India for executing orders. Identify high-impact opportunities in the Globally and ensure timely execution through strong cross-functional

collaboration and prioritization with our global team.

Business Reporting & Market Intelligence:

Deliver insightful, actionable reports and dashboards to leadership, outlining sales performance,

customer insights, competitor movements, and market trends. Use analytics to identify growth

levers, and mitigate risks.

Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 years of International Business Development Experience in Home & Personal Care Segment

Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy. B.Tech / M. Tech in Cosmetic Chemistry / Chemical Engineering

Fluency in English. Knowledge of any Foreign language would be an added benefit
