Role Overview

As a Visual Designer - Intern, you will support Bough's Business Development and growth initiatives through high quality visual communication and content. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and consulting - helping translate complex business ideas into clear, compelling visuals that strengthen proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials.

This is a hands-on internship for someone eager to learn how a consulting firm positions itself, communicates value, and wins work - while sharpening their design craft in a high expectation, real world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support the creation of clientfacing materials including proposals, pitch decks, presentations, reports, and digital assets
• Ensure all visual outputs align with Bough's brand identity, tone, and quality standards
• Collaborate with Business Development and consulting teams to understand requirements and translate ideas into structured visual narratives
• Simplify complex business concepts into visually engaging and easytodigest formats
• Support endtoend content creation - from concept development through final execution
• Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitors, and design best practices to inform storytelling
• Incorporate feedback constructively and iterate efficiently to improve clarity and quality
• Manage multiple design tasks while adhering to timelines and quality expectations

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing studies in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
• Internship, academic, or projectbased experience in design, branding, or content creation preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating visual design capability (presentations, layouts, digital assets, branding, or storytelling work)
• Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Figma, Framer, or similar platforms
• Interest in consulting, professional services, or B2B environments is a strong advantage
• Ability to understand business context and reflect it thoughtfully in design choices
