About Us
We're building deeply intelligent UAVs for defense forces designed to out-think, outmaneuver, and dominate even in contested environments. Our mission is to give the armed forces an undeniable edge and help safeguard peace across borders. We move fast, challenge limits, and obsess over building technology that redefines what's possible. If you are driven to build something truly transformational then this is it.
About the Role
This is a min. 6-month, full-time, onsite, paid internship. As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will support the integration, testing, and validation of mechanical and electronic subsystems on our UAV platforms. You'll work alongside experienced engineers during ground tests and flight trials, helping with system setup, data collection, troubleshooting, and documentation. This role is ideal for students who enjoy hands-on engineering and want to understand how complete UAV systems come together in practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with integration and testing of mechanical, electrical, and avionics subsystems
Support ground testing and flight test activities, including pre-flight checks and post-flight diagnostics
Help operate and configure Ground Control Station (GCS) software (e.g., Mission Planner, QGroundControl)
Assist in testing and validating components such as motors, ESCs, sensors, and autopilots
Support basic data analysis, log review, and test result documentation
Help maintain system documentation, including configuration notes and test records
Assist in assembly, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting under guidance
Work with cross-functional teams to support smooth subsystem integration
Requirements
Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field
Academic projects, internships, or lab experience involving UAVs, robotics, or electromechanical systems are a plus
Basic familiarity with UAV systems, sensors, and autopilots
Exposure to GCS tools (Mission Planner, QGC) or flight stacks (ArduPilot, PX4) is a big plus
Comfortable with basic hands-on work such as assembly, wiring, or soldering
Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a testing-focused environment
Benefits
Hands-on exposure to full UAV platforms, from assembly to flight testing
Practical experience with avionics, flight controllers, sensors, and system integration
Opportunity to learn real-world testing, debugging, and documentation practices
Mentorship from experienced systems and flight-test engineers
Potential PPO / full-time conversion based on performance
