About the role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing compelling visual content for a variety of digital and print media. You will work closely with our design team to support on-going projects, contribute fresh ideas, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of visual content for digital and print materials, including social media posts, banners, brochures, email templates, advertisements, and more.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines.
- Edit and manipulate images and illustrations to enhance design output.
- Help with the preparation of final design files for production, ensuring all assets are correctly formatted.
- Support the design team with ad-hoc tasks, including organizing design assets, maintaining design archives, and providing creative input.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all design deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field (or diploma).
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio showcasing design skills and creative projects.
