KaaryaConnect is a tradition-first services marketplace connecting families with trusted Purohits, astrologers, Brahmin cooks, traditional catering, decor, photographers, musicians, and more.
Provider onboarding is live, our Android app is in beta, and we are now expanding our core product team with a high-ownership intern who can own both product design and social growth content.
Position - Intern - UI/UX + Graphic Designer + Social Media Content Creator + User Base Growth
What you will do
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for Android app and web
- Work on both provider and customer journeys - onboarding, browsing, booking, payments, ratings, history
- Create and maintain a design system - colors, typography, buttons, cards, icons
- Build well-structured Figma files with auto-layout and clear handoff specs
- Create consistent social media creatives - posters, banners, reel covers, festival creatives, simple motion assets
- Manage a content calendar and publish regularly across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and WhatsApp communities
- Drive user base growth through content and distribution - improve reach, engagement, inbound leads, and sign-ups
- Track weekly metrics - views, saves, shares, follower growth, CTR - and iterate based on performance
- Collaborate with founders and engineers to ship fast, test ideas, and improve conversion in-app and on social
Tools & skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Figma (mandatory)
- Canva or Adobe tools (Illustrator/Photoshop) preferred
- Good understanding of UX basics - hierarchy, navigation, readability, mobile-first design
- Comfort designing across formats - app screens, posters, thumbnails, story/reel layouts
- Portfolio with UI work and at least a few social creatives (student/personal projects are fine)

- Ownership mindset - you ship, iterate fast, and improve outcomes
- Interest in designing for Indian users and traditional use cases - poojas, weddings, housewarmings, etc.
- Willingness to work closely with founders and engineers, take feedback, and improve quickly
Common Requirements
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or early-career professional
- Available to work full-time or near full-time during the internship period
- Strong communication and comfort in a fast-paced, early-stage startup
- At least one solid portfolio link to demonstrate your work
Compensation & Performance
- This is a performance-linked internship with variable payout
- Payouts will depend on:
- Ownership and delivery of design flows and content output
- Quality of execution, speed, and iteration discipline
- Impact on user growth and engagement metrics
- Agreed milestones and real outcomes (user growth, onboarding support, etc.)
