Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Direct Tax Intern to support the Direct Tax team in ensuring compliance, documentation, and tax reporting activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate taxation in a dynamic and high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax and related schedules.
- Support in computation of advance tax, TDS, and deferred tax workings.
- Assist in preparation of tax audit documentation and schedules.
- Maintain tax compliance trackers and ensure timely updates.
- Support in handling notices, queries, and correspondence from tax authorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and reconciliation.
- Assist in transfer pricing documentation and related workings (if applicable).
- Support in preparation of tax reports for management review.
Eligibility Criteria
- Strong understanding of Direct Tax concepts and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Good analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
