About the Role

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking to recruit an intern who will support GAIN India's work in developing high-quality, evidence-based knowledge products and communication materials related to food systems with a climate lens at the national and state levels. The role combines policy and data analysis, synthesis, and strong written communication to translate technical evidence into clear, actionable insights for key stakeholders including policymakers, development partners, donors, and practitioners. This internship will be offered on a 6-month full-time contract, subject to availability of funding and will be based in Delhi, India.

Key responsibilities include

  • Assist in developing a range of knowledge products, including but not limited to policy briefs & documents, fact sheets and more
  • Support planning and coordination of webinars, learning events, and dissemination activities
  • Assist in preparing dissemination materials, including presentations and slide decks, background notes and more

About you

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with ability to interpret data and technical information.
  • Excellent written communication and content writing skills, with ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically.
  • Ability to translate technical and data-heavy content into accessible narratives.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good organisational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong interest in Policy research or development research
  • Exposure to climate policy, agriculture, food systems, public health, or sustainability.
  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder events online and offline

About our offer

The stipend on offer for this role is INR 15,000 per month.

Please note, that GAIN does not sponsor working visas and relocations.
