Job Summary
We're looking for a proactive Account Manager Intern to join our Customer Success and Client Relationship team. This is an ideal internship for freshers or early-career candidates who want to learn account management, customer success, client servicing, and B2B relationship management in a fast-scaling fintech environment.
You'll support customer onboarding, manage routine client queries, track account health, and contribute to a best-in-class customer experience for Karbon's users.
Where You Can Create Impact
- Assist in managing customer accounts and building long-term relationships.
- Support customer onboarding, product walkthroughs, and account setup.
- Handle day-to-day client queries with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Coordinate with internal teamsproduct, operations, supportto resolve issues quickly.
- Track account health metrics, renewals, and client engagement touchpoints.
- Maintain accurate updates in CRM tools and prepare client reports.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (where relevant).
- Proactively flag customer pain points and help improve the client experience.
Must-have Skills
Requirements for the Role
- Excellent communication skills (spoken + written).
- Strong rejection-handling and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- High empathy and customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Hunger to learn and take ownership.
Good-to-have Skills
- Basic Excel skills (filters, pivots, data cleanup).
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho, or Freshsales.
- Prior internship or exposure to customer success, client servicing, or sales roles.
