Interior Site Supervisor manages daily interior project operations, coordinating workers and subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety, tracking progress against plans, managing materials, and communicating with clients/managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, meeting design specs. Key duties include site supervision, scheduling, quality control, safety compliance, material management, and detailed reporting, requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge of interiors, and communication skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution: Oversee daily on-site activities, ensuring work aligns with design plans, specifications, and timelines.Coordination: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams; schedule work and material deliveries.Quality Control: Ensure workmanship meets required standards and design specifications through regular inspections.Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce health, safety, and site policies, resolving hazards and incidents.Reporting: Maintain site logs, document progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to project managers and clients.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and technical challenges.Material Management: Track material usage, inventory, and timely delivery to prevent delays. Essential Skills & QualificationsEducation: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: Proven background in interior fit-outs, residential/commercial projects, and site supervision.Technical Skills: Knowledge of interior design principles, construction techniques, AutoCAD, MS Office, and safety protocols.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
