Job Description

The Head - Interior Operations will be responsible for leading end-to-end interior execution, post-sales delivery, and operational excellence across regions. This role ensures timely project delivery, cost control, quality compliance, process standardization, and stakeholder satisfaction while scaling operations across multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Execution Leadership

  • Own end-to-end execution of residential/commercial interior projects from handover to closure.
  • Drive on-time, within-budget, and quality-compliant project delivery across regions.
  • Monitor project milestones, site progress, installations, and handover processes.
  • Resolve execution bottlenecks, escalations, and site-level challenges proactively.

2. Process, Quality & Compliance

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for execution, installation, and post-sales services.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and compliance guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits, quality checks, and performance reviews across projects.

3. Team Management & Training

  • Lead and mentor operations managers, project managers, and site teams.
  • Act as a trainer for execution, operations, and process development teams.
  • Build capability frameworks, onboarding modules, and continuous training programs.
  • Drive performance management, productivity, and accountability within teams.

4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point for customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Manage and optimize vendor, contractor, and partner performance across regions.
  • Negotiate timelines, quality benchmarks, and service-level agreements with vendors.

5. Post-Sales & Customer Experience

  • Oversee post-handover services, defect liability, and closure timelines.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through structured communication and resolution mechanisms.
  • Reduce rework, complaints, and turnaround time through process improvements.

6. Cost & Resource Optimization

  • Monitor project costs, material utilization, and manpower planning.
  • Drive cost efficiencies without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational MIS reporting.

7. Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and present operational dashboards, MIS, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Track KPIs related to delivery timelines, quality scores, CSAT, and cost efficiency.
  • Support leadership in scaling operations across new geographies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Interior Design / Architecture / Arts or equivalent).
  • Advanced Diploma in Interior Designing preferred.
  • PMP certification is a strong advantage.
  • 12+ years of experience in interior execution, project management, and operations.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale, multi-city interior operations.
  • Strong background in residential interior execution and installations.
