Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Surat, collaborating with clients and internal teams to plan and execute interior design projects for residential, commercial, and institutional spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing mood boards and concept designs, and developing detailed layouts and 3D visualizations. The role involves selecting materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor that align with design concepts, budget, and timelines. The Interior Designer will coordinate with contractors and vendors, review site work for compliance with design specifications, and make necessary adjustments. The position also includes preparing presentations, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring designs meet safety, functional, and aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in interior design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials selection.
• Ability to create detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using industry-standard design and CAD software.
• Skill in client communication, requirement gathering, and translating needs into practical and creative design solutions.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
• Attention to detail in documentation, budgeting, and project scheduling, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and best practices for interior projects in India.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat, with flexibility to visit client locations and project sites as needed.
