Role Description The Interior Designer role at VOFO Dimensions is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, create detailed space plans, and prepare drawings and presentations that align with project requirements and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, understanding functional and aesthetic needs, coordinating with architects and contractors, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role also involves reviewing construction progress, ensuring design intent is maintained, and making necessary adjustments to plans and specifications. The Interior Designer will work closely with the project team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically coherent layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams.
- Strong skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment coordination.
- Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ability to use industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work on-site with cross-functional teams, and adhere to timelines and budgets.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles and current design trends is an advantage.
