Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer with 13 years of experience to assist in delivering premium interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects. The candidate will work closely with the Senior Interior Designer and Design Manager to transform client requirements into innovative and functional spaces, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the design and execution process.

Key Responsibilities:1. Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering

  • Attend client meetings along with seniors to understand functional needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget.
  • Interpret client inputs and mood boards to develop design concepts aligned with their vision.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and visual material for client approvals.

2. Design Development & Visualization

  • Create 2D layouts, floor plans, and furniture arrangements under guidance.
  • Develop high-quality 3D models and renderings using 3ds Max and other rendering engines.
  • Incorporate revisions based on client feedback and suggestions from senior designers.
  • Ensure all designs reflect premium interior standards and align with current market trends.

3. Material Research & Selection

  • Research and suggest materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories suitable for projects.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of trending products, finishes, and global design standards.
  • Assist in preparing detailed material boards and specifications for client approvals.

4. Project Documentation & Detailing

  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation after design finalization, including:
  • Measurements, layouts, and floor plans
  • Material specifications, quantities, and color codes
  • Bill of Quantities (BOQs), Excel sheets for procurement, costing, and deal documentation
  • Maintain accurate records to assist in quotations, final bills, and add-ons.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, organized, and aligns with project requirements.

5. Coordination & Execution Support

  • Coordinate with senior designers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Conduct site visits to verify measurements, space constraints, and design feasibility.
  • Ensure design execution adheres to approved plans and premium quality standards.

6. Project Follow-Up & Billing Support

  • Support in preparing project quotations, final bills, and add-ons for completed work.
  • Track material procurement, installation progress, and budget alignment.
  • Assist senior designers in reviewing and approving site-related changes or adjustments.

7. Team Collaboration & Guidance

  • Work collaboratively with junior designers, interns, and other team members.
  • Follow instructions from senior designers and provide updates on assigned tasks.
  • Assist in mentoring interns or junior staff when needed.

8. Continuous Learning & Trend Awareness

  • Stay updated on global and local interior design trends, materials, furniture models, and technologies.
  • Explore innovative design solutions to enhance client satisfaction and project outcomes.
  • Attend workshops, trade shows, or training sessions as recommended.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent.

  • 13 years of relevant interior design experience.
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max, rendering engines, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of premium interior standards and materials is a plus.
