Role Description

Studio Freeform is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our team on-site in Chandigarh.

The role involves designing and planning functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces that align with our ethos of conscious living and holistic design.

Responsibilities include space planning, creating construction drawings, curating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and contractors to bring designs to life.

The designer will also ensure that projects meet deadlines while adhering to the company's high standards of creativity and functionality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and visually engaging spaces.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interior Design.
• Skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings, ensuring designs align with structural requirements.
• Experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and procurement.
• Strong project management skills, including time management, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and a design team.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• A passion for blending functionality, emotional connection, and aesthetics in design is highly valued.
