Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will develop detailed space plans, create interior design concepts, collaborate on furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) selections, and produce technical construction drawings. The role requires engaging closely with clients to understand their needs, working with vendors and contractors to ensure execution aligns with project specifications, and maintaining high design and quality standards in line with the company's philosophy of luxury and functionality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to conceptualize and implement creative and functional designs
- Strong understanding of Architectural principles and experience with Construction Drawings
- Expertise in selecting and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) suitable for luxury and tailored projects
- Proficient in design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent
- Strong communication and client collaboration skills for managing diverse projects and stakeholders
- Work experience in high-end interior design or furniture sectors is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and eco-conscious practices is a plus
