Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Lucknow. The Interior Designer will develop interior concepts, layouts, and material palettes for public, institutional, and culturally significant spaces, ensuring alignment with project requirements and brand standards. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing construction and interior drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. The role involves site visits to review work progress, verify design intent, address on-site issues, and support quality control. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, prepare presentations and mood boards, and collaborate with project teams to deliver functional, aesthetically cohesive, and compliant interiors within defined timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, efficient, and aesthetically aligned layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and ability to coordinate interior concepts with overall building design and services.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and approvals.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination to ensure quality, durability, and design consistency.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic rendering tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and integrate them into interior solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in public, institutional, or government projects and familiarity with relevant codes and standards is an advantage.
