Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E specifications, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed on-site. The role involves client meetings to understand requirements, presenting design proposals and mood boards, and incorporating feedback into final designs. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, monitor work progress for quality and compliance with drawings, and assist with project documentation and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetic layouts.
• Strong understanding of Architecture principles and integration of interiors with overall building design.
• Experience preparing detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects on-site in Ahmedabad.
• Prior experience in turnkey or design-build projects is an advantage.
