Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, and translating ideas into detailed drawings and material specifications. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and furnishings, coordinating FF&E, and creating construction drawings in alignment with project requirements and local standards. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, attending site meetings, and monitoring design implementation to ensure quality and design intent. The Interior Designer will also communicate with clients, incorporate feedback, and maintain project documentation and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Proficiency in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical details for on-site execution.
• Experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories that align with design concepts.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic presentation tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills in handling multiple projects.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant professional experience in interior projects is preferred.
