Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Jaipur. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop creative design concepts, and translate these concepts into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing mood boards, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves creating detailed drawings and documentation for construction teams, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and ensuring design intent and quality standards are maintained. The Interior Designer will also work closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to manage timelines, budgets, and project deliverables.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, visually appealing layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to develop accurate design documentation and coordinate with project teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection and specification to curate appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment for each project.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with materials, finishes, and building standards.
- Strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in a similar role is preferred.
