Stylist-Interior Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Stylist role based in Jaipur. The Stylist will create visually compelling room and product setups for catalogues, photoshoots, showrooms, and digital channels, ensuring that each display reflects the SAMURAI HOME aesthetic and brand standards.

Daily responsibilities include selecting furniture, rugs, and accessories, coordinating color palettes and materials, and preparing mood boards or style guides for internal teams and clients.

The Stylist will collaborate closely with design, merchandising, photography, and marketing teams to plan shoots, set up and break down sets, and ensure products are showcased effectively.

The role also involves tracking style trends, providing input on product assortments, and maintaining organized styling props, samples, and styling archives.

Qualifications

* Strong styling and visual design skills, including experience creating room layouts, mood boards, and cohesive visual stories.

* Knowledge of furniture, textiles, rugs, and interior décor trends, with an eye for color, texture, and proportion.

* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, merchandising, photography, marketing) and communicate styling concepts clearly.

* Practical skills in planning and executing photoshoots, including set preparation, product handling, and on-site problem-solving.

* Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple styling projects and deadlines.

* Comfort working on-site in studio and showroom environments, including light physical work such as moving and arranging furniture and props.

* Relevant education in interior design, visual merchandising, fashion styling, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* Previous experience in home décor, furniture, interiors, or lifestyle brands is preferred.

* A portfolio showing styling or visual merchandising work that highlights creativity, brand alignment, and commercial awareness
