Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in New Delhi. The Interior Designer will develop concepts, layouts, and detailed interior plans, including mood boards, material palettes, and presentations for client review. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing construction and interior drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and aligning designs with architectural and structural requirements. The role involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, conducting site visits to track progress and quality, and updating documentation as projects evolve. The designer will also participate in client meetings, incorporate feedback into design revisions, and ensure that all solutions meet functional, budgetary, and timeline expectations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills to create functional, aesthetically balanced layouts.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and the ability to integrate interior concepts with architectural elements.
• Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reading Construction Drawings for accurate on-site execution.
• Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, and furnishings aligned with design intent.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), along with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign).
• Strong visualization, concept development, and material selection abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; 3-5 years prior experience in interior projects.
