Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and execution-oriented Interior Designer with 34 years of experience in commercial and government interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and supporting turnkey project execution in coordination with internal teams, vendors, and site engineers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual designs, layouts, and detailed interior drawings for commercial, institutional, and government turnkey projects
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D views, working drawings, and design presentations as per project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and execution teams for seamless design implementation
- Handle vendor coordination, material selection, and design specifications aligned with project BOQ
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and design validation to ensure accuracy and execution feasibility
- Support in BOQ understanding, design detailing, and value engineering as per project scope
- Ensure designs comply with client requirements, project timelines, and quality standards
- Assist in client meetings, design discussions, and revisions based on feedback
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and design approvals
Required Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior design and turnkey project execution
- Understanding of BOQ, material specifications, and design detailing
- Experience in handling government and large-scale commercial projects (preferred)
- Vendor coordination and site execution knowledge
- Space planning, layout planning, and furniture design understanding
- Strong presentation and visualization skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
